Certification Process
Information on certification is made available upon enquiry. A quotation is issued to customer based on information provided by the customer in Form 16.

Application
Customer submits an application using the standard application Form 18B.
Step 3:
Document Review
The customer’s quality management systems, product standards/specifications, and designs are reviewed.
Step 4:
Factory/Plant Assessment
The customer’s products are tested and the relevant quality management systems are assessed, including all parts of the production process. Product conformity assessment as well as factory assessment is performed. (Scheme Type 5)
Certificate declaration Form 25 is signed before the official issuance of certificate. A certification paper is submitted for decision on certification.
OR
The certification is rejected. The customer may submit an appeal using Form 17.

Auditing
Surveillance (every 6 months)
Recertification (every 3 years)
Surveillance of the quality management system is conducted. Samples of the product may be taken from the market, point of production, or both; and are assessed for ongoing conformity. Factory/Plant inspection and testing is conducted to ensure continued compliance. (Scheme Type 5)
Step 7:
Renewal
Subject to satisfactory inspection, testing report, and payment of certification fees, a renewal of the customer’s certificate is granted.
OR
Subject to application from the certificate holder and verification from MYQAS, extension/reduction of scope can be tabled to MYQAS Product Certification Committee for decision.
